This upcoming Saturday, a work team will arrive to help work along side the Sanancahuan Grande community as they install their own water system. They have never had a water system, and daily have to walk down to the spring source to collect water. It has taken them two years to receive approval from the government, but also to purchase all of the supplies. Needless to say, they are eager and anxious to get to work!
Today we were invited to the laying of the first stone. What an honor to see the initiative and pride of the community for their water system!

It has become tradition that every Monday after our Spanish lessons that we stop on our walk home at the ice cream shop and get ice cream...well it had been a long day, so I got two scopes :) :
