After a long, intense week studying in the communities, the Calvin team became tourists of the beautiful country of Ecuador.
Chimborazo is currently an inactive stratovolcano in the Cordillera Occidental range of the Andes. With a peak elevation of 6,263 m (20,548 ft), Chimborazo is the highest mountain in Ecuador.
Follow the journey of Bre and Emma as we conquer the altitude to further explore Chimborazo.
P.S. the guys as WAY ahead of us

Starting altitude!:

two steps in and already exhausted!:

wishing we were riding the donkeys up rather than walking:

you know you look exhausted when a little boy on the trail gives you candy out of sympathy:

still going...:

we saw many people had their months covered as they hiked up the mountain, so we tried it!:

one word... BEAUTIFUL!:

snow?:

WE MADE IT!:

perfect snack:

victory!
